Hack Belgium over the last three days did not only get me to rethink a couple of ideas but brought together over 1500 people hashing out 3000 ideas and looking for solutions to 12 big concerns and societal themes. Looking at smart and mobile #cities #water #climate the #oceans #media and #education to name a few impressed and were resourceful; more importantly the solutions were ground up. This Belgian hack marathon looked at how you can turn these ideas for good into startups for good, bringing in the public and private sector. I have to thank Leo Exter and his team who invited me representing The Association of European Journalists in Belgium - AEJ Belgium helping in a small way in the #media hub. As a side note I think the people I met there may have helped me come up with an idea on something I've been struggling with -- > doing my masters online and at a distance. #innovation strikes in #innovative spaces 🙌😊💡📝🌿💚
