WOMAN MISSING FROM CLARINDA

WOMAN MISSING FROM CLARINDA
Police are concerned for the welfare of a 72-year-old woman who went missing from her Clarinda home this morning.
Helen Bakalis was last seen by a member of the family in her home in Tomintoul Court around 9am.
It appears that Helen left home by herself, which is out of character for her as she suffers from a medical condition.
Police and Helen's family are concerned for her welfare as, she speaks broken English, does not have a mobile phone and has not be seen or heard from since this morning
Helen is perceived to be Southern European in appearance, about 165 centimetres tall with a medium build and blond/brown hair.
She was last seen wearing a pink zip up jumper, black shirt with white stripes, light brown trousers and sandals.
It is believed she is carrying her handbag containing identification.
Police have released an image of Helen in the hope someone recognises her and can provide information regarding her whereabouts.
Anyone who sees Mrs Bakalis is urged to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
