Thankfully Lucas Papadimos is not only accomplished but also a brave man ... if he gets cooperation and good faith he can complete all of the legally and financially technical natured essentials of the limited mandate assigned to him ...
Neither he, nor anyone else actually, can fix everything in Greece overnight – let alone within the 3 months he has before we hold national general elections ...
But importantly, he and the new caretaker administration can prevent Hellas from sliding into worse eventualities ... like full bankruptcy, a domestic payment stop and a potentially chaotic Euro exit ...
Just avoiding these will still be remarkable achievements that may go immediately unappreciated but I assure you the other worse outcomes would hit the daily lives and living standards of Hellenes very brutally ....
